*drags self over to computer*

H-hi, everyone...

I'm so sorry...I said I would post on Friday in my last post, but lately I've been kind of sick...like it's this weird kind of sick...one second my stomach is hurting, the next second my back is killing me, and on Saturday night I had this insane headache where it felt like my entire head was being squeezed to death...I still don't know what the heck was wrong with me.

BUT now I'm finally all better.

So I was planning to fangirl all over this post on Friday about Mockingjay Pt. 1, but after a funeral on Saturday and three murderous sick days in a row, I'm not feeling very fangirl-y. Also, I don't wanna spoil the movie for anyone, seeing as not everyone gets to see movies on opening day (and yes, I was being a little braggy there...but can you really blame me? i'm always seeing everyone else talk about their exciting lives; let me have my moment! :P)

So I will just say this: for those of you who read Mockingjay, that part--you know, that part? The only part of the first half of the book that mattered? Yeah, they did a great job with that part in the movie. Josh Hutcherson's performance as Peeta was perfection, I kind of wanted to cry, actually. You know, because it was that part. (Okay, okay, I'll stop saying that.)

Also, for those of you who read the book, I noticed that in the movie, Finnick and Prim have very prominent roles--especially Finnick. I was so happy to see him and everything, but then I remembered--you know, remembered? (Okay, I'll seriously stop talking in fangirl code now.)

And for those of you who didn't read the book--

Hahahaha--but, seriously--Read. The. Book.

Alright, I'm almost done talking about Mockingjay, but I just wanna say this one extra thing (and, don't worry, it's not actually about the movie or book or fangirl stuff)

I went with my dad to see it (because he went with me to see Catching Fire and really wanted to see the rest of the movies) and at the end, the screen cuts to black, and he goes "Are you kidding me?!" And I slowly turn to him and smile and say "Yup. That's why it's 'Part 1', get it? So now we have a whole year until the next one." And he just shakes his head and sighs.

It was funny, but it's also kind of cool to have my dad be a one-fifth fandad with me. (Yeah I just made up "fandad" because "fangirl" is obviously wrong and "fanboy" just doesn't sound right for a grown man.) So next November, it'll be me and him, all excited and ready to go.

Okay, now I'm finally done. 

P.S. I'm on break so I should be able to post more this week, but it's not like I'll really have anything to post about anyway, and then after that it's back to school...so, honestly, you guys will be lucky if you hear from me before Christmas. (Just a warning.)
