Personally, I find this post's title perfect because
a. I have not posted in literally forever
and
b. yesterday was Halloween (even though I pretty much don't celebrate it)
I actually would launch into a big speech about the Skeleton War but that's mostly a Tumblr thing and I would probably end up sounding like more of a nerd than I already have.
Anyway.
This past Thursday was awesome! I did literally zero school (why do I keep saying literally???). Instead, me and my mom and my little brother went to Kauffman Stadium, the stadium for our local baseball team the Kansas City Royals, and tried to cheer up our team. Literally. There was a looot of cheering. And screaming. And clapping. But it was awesome and I loved it. I know the stadium would've been way more packed and way louder if we had actually won the World Series (by the way, if I haven't been clear about this already, we didn't win :/) But I'm still really proud of our team. I'm actually a fair-weather fan--I knew nothing about our baseball team and didn't particularly care about their existence until they got into the World Series. Then of course I was cheering for them and watching their games and wearing my Royal blue.
Aaand I just realized that I probably wasn't very specific about why we were at the stadium that day. Like I said, it was sort of like a "cheer up, we love you guys" party for the Royals. It was totally free (love that word, "free") and anyone could come. We filled the seats and basically just thanked the team for all their hard work with a lot of cheers and screams and claps and signs. The players came out onto the field and thanked us for being awesome fans. Then they all had to leave in a hurry because almost none of them actually live in Kansas City and they wanted to get back home to their families. But it was still a blast.
And afterward, my mom did a little "coupon shopping" and we got some Burger King. So, yeah, pretty awesome day.
Today was okay too, I guess. Just sort of sat at home, trying (and failing) to do some drawings on the computer and snacking on popcorn.
Oh, before I go, I saw this cool image on Pinterest earlier:
