This month's playlist isn't actually called "February 2015 Playlist", but instead "For the Cool Kids", because most of the songs are alternative. So, anyway, let's move on to my faves from the list!

I am LOVING Echosmith omg. Their music sound is really nice and their messages are super positive and I just really like them.

I've been listening to Hillsong Young & Free's "Alive." And yes, there was a period when I was into "Cool Kids" by Echosmith, but I am TOTALLY not an indie/alt/altrock/rock fan, so it only lasted a couple of hours. :-( It's strange, because I can listen to everything except for rock/alternative, and that's what people seem to like these days. Huh.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm not really I guess what you would call a "rock" person either--quite honestly most of the other songs from a lot of these artists annoy me--but I just like these select few for the lyrics. Echosmith is the only one I truly love because they're music less rock and more slow moving, meaningful, and positive. I personally don't understand why people love so many of these other alt bands though; to be honest I think the majority are just faking it so they can be "cool" :P

DeleteThat's one of my favourite Arctic Monkeys songs, and I love all the Echosmith songs too. I love the Lorde and OneRepublic songs you added as well. Not a fan of Fall Out Boy though. Nonetheless, this is a pretty good compilation. :)
