THIS IS ONE THE MOST IMPORTANT INTERVIEWS ON MY BLOG
Nearly two years ago, I started this blog. And then immediately when on a, like, three or four month hiatus. And when I came back, I was shocked that my blog had any views. So I began posting. But after a while, my posts became "wah-wah-wah no one ever reads my blog I'm just gonna delete it." And an insanely more talented blogger named Rcubed grabbed me by my shoulders and shook me back and forth and said "HEY I LIKE YOUR POSTS SO DON'T YOU DARE STOP POSTING LITTLE GIRL". And maybe she didn't say it exactly like that--you can go through my archive back to old old posts to see her exact words in the comments--but the point is, she inspired me to keep blogging. And now here I am--56 followers, 138 posts, and some-thousand pageviews later. And it's truly because of her. Now we have a little inside joke about the "Picture Window" theme that I had on my blog back then (no one else really finds that funny but us) and we comment on each other's blogs and support each other--and we both have YouTube channels! Check out Rcubed's channel and make sure to subscribe; she's been doing videos privately waaay longer than me so she's really good at it and she has a couple awesome videos uploaded already!
I could go on and on about her but I'll just let you read the interview so you can learn for yourself.
Name? Rachel in real life, Rcubed in Internet life.
Age? 15. I'm almost at the point where I can say "almost 16." It freaks me out, to be honest.
Top three fears? Fear of pain/suffering, fear of people, fear of studded choker necklaces. (Not because they're off-putting...just because I'm afraid that if I wear one, it'll either gouge someone's eyes out or choke me to death.)
Last song you listened to? "Tears Fall" by Jacquie Lee
If you could have anything (literally anything--food, clothes, electronics, etc.) right now, what would it be? For school to be over and for As in all of my classes.
What does your url mean? I originally wanted my blog name to be "Random Rants by Rachel," but my dad didn't want me putting my real name on there, so I changed it to Rcubed. But, like, everyone knows my real name now, so I guess I could change it, but...it's a brand now.
Current favorite movie(s)? Facing the Giants, The Avengers, Pitch Perfect, How To Train Your Dragon
Current favorite song(s)? "Unbreakable Smile" & "Should've Been Us" (Tori Kelly), "Death of Me" (Andy Mineo), the Pitch Perfect 1&2 soundtracks (I just saw the second one, and the music was just as good as the first one.)
Current favorite book(s)? I don't really have "current" favorite books--I just have all-time favorites, which would be the Anne series by L.M. Montgomery
Current favorite band(s)? I don't really listen to bands! I only listen to artists! But I like Addison Road.
Top three pet peeves? People who talk too much (sometimes this is me, so then I get peeved at myself), when metal silverware clashes against each other, when people who don't answer questions directly
Are you close with your parents? Yes! I love my parents!
Favorite animals? I don't really like animals...but I do like otters and dolphins. They're adorable.
Favorite blogs? YOURS! Paper Fury! Opal Swirls! Note + Rain!
Three bad habits? I have a tendency to sniffle. I know. It's quite strange. I have a chronic runny nose (some might call it "allergies," but a while ago I took some medicine for allergies and it didn't help, so I don't know). I also jiggle my legs a lot and tend to zone out.
Is she not awesome? Look me in the eye and tell me she's not awesome. You can't, see, it's impossible.
