So the post yesterday got a lot of comments (okay, three, but that's a lot for me!) saying that I should do the fiction-blog-writing thing. So I did it! I created my two characters' profiles and one of the blogs (I'm still working on the other one). So make sure you check out the profiles for my new main characters Ivy and Natalie Grace!
Aaaaanway...um...now updates about MY life! Hmm...what has been going on...
Well, if you've noticed, I sort of have a "different voice" on my blog now. I've started trying to write with a more "cheerful, upbeat" tone, because my mom said my original tone sounded sort of depressing (okay, Mom, I know you didn't say "depressing", but I'm just summing it up here!). Anyway, I didn't want to scare potential readers off with a dark tone, so I'm trying to "do better", as my mom would say. (Whoa, I just lived up to homeschooler stereotype #1: talking about my mom too much. Ouch.)
Um, heh-heh, moving on...oh, yeah...I GOT A CELL PHONE!!! FINALLY!!! It's not an iPhone, but who the heck cares? It's a Samsung Rush, a real smartphone, and that's good enough for me. Scratch that--it's SURPRISING enough for me. I seriously thought my first phone would be a flip-phone. Turns out it isn't! WHOO-HOO!
Okey-dokey...that's about it....I think I already said that my parents returned from Florida (^^) and that I'm back in my comfort zone (^^) and that I've been saving up money (^^) from mowing lawns to turn my room into a Tumblr room. So yep...that's it! (Make sure you stayed tuned so that I can update you on my blog-story/story-blog thing I'm doing! ^^)
